Requirements
- Extras
- Nothing. There is no other software to install and no runtime to set up first.
- Network
- Not needed. The application runs entirely on your machine and works offline.
- Account
- Not needed. Every function works signed out, permanently.
- Price
- Free for individual use. Cloud sync and team access are planned as paid add-ons, priced per person. Neither is available yet.
- Updates
- Automatic. T‑Rex updates itself. You confirm each install, and you may return to the previous version from the Help menu.
Bringing existing work
| From | How it arrives |
|---|---|
| Postman | A collection file or an environment export. Folders, requests, headers, variables and auth presets come across together. |
| OpenAPI | Point T‑Rex at an API’s documentation URL; it reads the document and builds a collection from it. |
| cURL | Paste a command you already have, into the import dialog or straight into the URL bar. |
Whichever way you arrive, T‑Rex states exactly what came across and exactly what it could not bring, with the reason and the place it happened.
